After a visit to Moscow, President James Marshall (Harrison Ford) becomes a hostage when Air Force One is taken over by neo-nationalists from Kazakhstan. Led by Ivan Korshunov (Gary Oldman), the terrorists take control of the aircraft and demand the release of their leader, General Radek.
