When a machine that allows therapists to enter their patients' dreams is stolen, all hell breaks loose as the thieves use the device to enter people's dreams and blur the line between reality and the unconscious. The authorities suspect that it was an inside job and enlist the help of a female therapist nicknamed Paprika to try to stop the machine before the world is sent into a permanent dream world.
