Octavio (Gael García Bernal) wants to run away with his sister-in-law (Vanessa Bauche), but after a dogfight goes bad he runs a red light and causes a violent accident. Octavio hits Daniel (Álvaro Guerrero), a businessman who has abandoned his family, and Valeria (Goya Toledo), a beautiful model who loses her leg in the accident. The collision is witnessed by El Chiro (Emilio Echevarría), a homeless former revolutionary who is trying to reconnect with his daughter. Directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu.
