Paul (Patton Oswalt) is an obsessive New York Giants fan. His days as a parking-lot attendant are dull, but at night he watches games or calls sports talk-radio shows. When he and his buddy (Kevin Corrigan) see one of their favorite players at a gas station, they follow him. In a bar, they admit they've been on their trail and things get violent.
