A film about elite soldiers who disarm bombs in Iraq. A new sergeant, James (Jeremy Renner), takes over a highly trained bomb-disposal team during the war in Iraq, he decides to change many of the team's routines. Two of the men under his command, Sanborn (Anthony Mackie) and Eldridge (Brian Geraghty), are upset by his decision to become involved in what they think is a reckless and deadly game of urban combat.
