After a simulated videogame boxing match shows former champ Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) beating current champion Mason "The Line" Dixon (Antonio Tarver), the legendary fighter begins to think about a return to the ring. But, while Rocky desires to fight in small, regional competitions to earn some much needed cash, promoters begin to call for a real-life rematch of the videogame simulation.
