In the week leading up to the assassination of John Lennon (Mark Lindsay Chapman), Jude (Lindsay Lohan), a young Beatles fan, befriends Mark David Chapman (Jared Leto) outside of The Dakota, Lennon's New York apartment building. As the day of the murder approaches, Chapman, a lonely, unstable man obsessed with J.D. Salinger's Catcher in the Rye, is shows increasing signs of paranoia, socio-pathis lying and delusion.
