Two astronauts aboard a spaceship awaken from hypersleep, not knowing who they are or what their mission is. Bower (Ben Foster) explores the inner regions of the ship to try to discover what is happening, while Payton (Dennis Quaid) stays behind and tries to make contact with someone on Earth. As the two struggle with their goals, they realize that they are not alone and that someone or something on the ship is trying to kill them. Can they be the last survivors of humanity?
