After dropping out of medical school, Victor Mancini (Sam Rockwell) works as a tour guide at an historical theme park in order to support his mother (Anjelica Huston), who is hospitalized with Alzheimer's. For extra cash, he pretends to choke on pieces of food in upscale restaurants, so that he can leech off of the people who come to his aid. When he's not busy taking advantage of people for money, Victor frequents sexual addiction workshops to find companionship.
