Nearly three decades after millions of British citizens infected with a lethal virus were quarantined in Scotland and left to die, the aptly named Reaper virus resurfaces on the streets of London in 2035. After discovering that survivors remain in Scotland, the Department of Domestic Security assembles a team to enter the infected zone and seek out a cure. The elite group of specialists, lead by Major Eden Sinclair (Rhona Mitra), who escaped Scotland as a child, enter the lawless wasteland and must battle against a legion of cannibals, while searching for a way to save the world.
