Arthur Dent (Martin Freeman) is having a bad day. Nothing is going right, and then his friend, Ford Prefect (Mos Def), tells Arthur that he is an alien who knows that Earth is about to be destroyed to make room for an intergalactic freeway. Ford, who is writing a guide to the galaxy, whisks Arthur away to safety, and they end up on a spaceship called Heart of Gold, along with an earthling (Zooey Deschanel) and various other creatures. Where will they end up? And will they be able to get a cup of tea there? The film is based on the bestselling novel by Douglas Adams. Directed by Garth Jennings.
