This film is based on the true story of Mark Whitacre (Matt Damon), the highest-ranked corporate whistler-blower in American history. Whitacre, who suffered from bi-polar disorder, nevertheless put himself on the line to expose corrupt business practices at Archer Daniels Midland, his employer.
