When Dick's (Jim Carrey) bosses are involved in an Enron-like scandal, he and his wife, Jane (Téa Leoni), are faced with the prospect of losing everything. Playing by the rules has left Dick broke and nearly homeless, so he decides that if stealing was good enough for them, then it's good enough for him.
