This bittersweet comedy stars Adam Sandler as George, a comedian who hires Ira (Seth Rogen), a standup comic, to write jokes for him. The two become buddies, but then George reveals a shocking secret. Ira helps him reexamine his life and the choices he has made. George looks up an old girlfriend (Leslie Mann) he never stopped loving. But she seems to be happily married to a man (Eric Bana) who is almost too perfect. Can George win her back, with Ira's help?
