Dr. Peter Venkam (Bill Murray), Dr. Raymond Stantz (Dan Aykroyd) and Dr. Egon Spengler (Harold Ramis) are parapsychologists dealing in the weird and the occult. After being fired from their jobs, they team up with Winston Zeddemore (Ernie Hudson) to become the Ghostbusters, a team of exterminators who trap and dispose of spirits, ghosts and ghouls.
