After Chuck (Dane Cook) breaks up with his longtime girlfriend, he is shocked when he learns that she got engaged to her very next boyfriend. Re-entering the dating circuit, he finds that this pattern begins to repeat itself; once he breaks up with a girl, she marries her next boyfriend. Once word get out, Chuck has more dates than he can handle. But, when Chuck falls for the beautiful Cam Wexler (Jessica Alba), he does his best to but an end to his dating curse.
