As King Arthur (Graham Chapman) attempts to recruit his Knights of the Round Table, he is faced with disruptive peasants, the ridiculously determined Black Knight and empty-headed guards, who dismiss the requests of their mighty leader. Eventually gathering a motley collection of knights with a range of quirks and limited abilities, including John Cleese, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin, Arthur sets out at God's command to retrieve the Holy Grail. During their quest, Arthur and his knights must contend with giants, wizards, the dreaded Knights who say Ni, a killer rabbit and the Legenday Black Beast of Aargh . Directed by Terry Gilliam.
