Shortly after receiving word that they will be heading home from Iraq, a National Guard unit is ambushed while making one last humanitarian mission. Upon returning to Spokane, WA, the soldiers have difficulty adjusting to civilian life after living through an intense firefight that cost their outfit many lives. Will Marsh (Samuel L. Jackson), Vanessa Price (Jessica Biel), Tommy Yates (Brian Presley) and Jamal Aiken (50 Cent) each deal with the loss and pain of that fateful day in their own way, trying to make peace with all those who didn't make it home.
