Joe Dirt (David Spade), a white trash janitor with a huge mullet and an irrepressible sense of optimism, sets out on a cross-country trip to locate his parents, who he hasn't seen since a family vacation to the Grand Canyon when he was a kid. Eventually, Joe's wandering, misguided search leads him to Los Angeles, where shock-jock Zander Kelly (Dennis Miller) brings the overgrown goofball on the air to have fun at his expense. But, as Joe recounts his life story, Zander's opinion begins to change, and eventually the entire city is tuned in to hear his heartbreaking tale. Directed by Dennie Gordon.
