Set in a seaside town in England in the Eighties, this is a coming-of-age drama about a boy named Edward (Bill Milner) who lives with his parents in the old-age home they run. He is obsessed with ideas about ghosts and afterlife. When Clarence (Michael Caine), a retired magician with an anarchic streak comes to the home, Edward is captivated.
