In 1970s Venice, California, a group of young skateboarders invent the tricks and techniques that form the backbone of modern skate boarding. Known as the Z-Boys, these total unknowns take the world by storm, using the moves they learned surfing waves and skating abandoned swimming pools to revolutionize skate competitions.
