When Ben (Joshua Jackson), a fashion photographer, and his new wife, Jane (Rachael Taylor), travel to Japan for a shoot in Tokyo, they arrive a few days early for a short, romantic honeymoon. But, their trip is interuppted when a car accident on a dark forest road results in the apparent death of a young local girl. When strange white blurs begin to appear in Ben's photos, Jane believes they are actually images of the girl's spirit, and that she is now following them. As Jane learns more about Ben's past and consults with experts in the field of paranormal photography, she learns that the dead girl may share a connection with her new husband and that Ben may not be the man she thought he was.
