Kate (Meg Ryan) is a 21rst century career woman. Leopold (Hugh Jackman) is a 19th century British aristocrat who needs to marry a wealthy woman to restore his family fortune. When Kate's ex-boyfriend finds a way to travel through time, he meets Leopold and brings him back to contemporary New York.
