When his 13-year-old sister Adriana (Paulina Gaitan) is kidnapped by sex traffickers in Mexico City, Jorge (Cesar Ramos) sets out on a deserate mission to free the young girl. As Jorge dodges immigration officers, he is joined in his quest to track the movements of the underground organization by Ray (Kevin Kline), a Texas cop who has experienced the devastating effects the sex trade can have on a family first-hand. While Adriana clings to her friend and protector Veronica (Alicja Bachleda-Curus), Jorge and Ray forge a close bond as they try to stop Adriana's kidnappers before she is sold and disappears forever.
