Mike (Steve Zahn) works in parents' motel in a small town. When Sue (Jennifer Aniston), a traveling art saleswoman checks in, he falls for her. Although she is friendly, that's as far as it goes. But he follows her home to Maryland, and tries to convince her to leave her boyfriend (Woody Harrelson), a former punk who makes millions selling yoghurt.
