Born wealthy and educated at the world's elite schools, Lara Croft (Angelina Jolie) is a highly trained warrior who speaks numerous foreign languages and travels the world in search of ancient artifacts from temple ruins and lost cities. After a mysterious clock she finds hidden in her mansion is stolen, Lara receives a letter from her dead father (Jon Voight) explaining that the clock is the key to uniting two halves of the Triangle of Light.
