A complex science fiction film set in the near future, its hero is Memo (Luis Fernando Peña ), a young man from a poor family in rural Mexico who has gotten good tinkering with computers. He taps into an online network which allows Mexicans to work in virtual factory jobs across the border by means of nodes attached to their bodies. When the corporation realizes that Memo has hacked into their network, it sends a drone to bomb their shack. Memo escapes but wants to figure out what is really going on and why his family was targeted. He joins forces with Luz (Leonor Varela) to unravel the mystery. Directed by Alex Rivera.
