On their first day of high school, Ryan (Troy Gentile), Wade (Nate Hartley) and Emmit (David Dorfman) have a run-in with Filkins (Alex Frost) and Ronnie (Josh Peck), the school bullies. Not wanting to deal with their abuse until graduation, the three nerds take out an ad for a bodyguard. Their choice is Drillbit Taylor (Owen Wilson ), a homeless man who poses as a soldier of fortune. Drillbit initially intends to rob their houses, but after becomimg friends with the boys he turns over a new leaf. After some intense training and a few unique pearls of wisdom, Ryan, Wade and Emmit ultimately learn to fend for themselves. Directed by Steven Brill.
