In 1967, college professor Robert Kearns (Greg Kinnear), a middle class father raising six kids with his wife Phyllis (Lauren Graham), invents a working prototype of the world's first intermittent windshield wiper. Succeeding where every automaker in the world has failed, Kearns believes his family will be financially secure for the rest of their lives. But, when the major auto manufacturers steal his invention and refuse to give him credit, Kearns begins a one man crusade to ensure that his life's work is acknowledged. Directed by Marc Abraham.
