In 1977, after three years of silence, former president Richard Nixon (Frank Langella) agrees to sit down with British talk show host David Frost (Michael Sheen) to discuss his time in office and answer questions about the Watergate scandal that ended his presidency. While Nixon intends to take advantage of the situation and use Frost to exonerate himself, Frost is more concerned with getting financial backing and selling the project to major networks.
