Bill (Aaron Eckhart) has a miserable life. He's out of shape, his career is going nowhere and his wife (Elizabeth Banks) is cheating on him with a local TV news anchor(Timothy Olyphant). When Bill is tasked with mentoring an unruly teenager (Logan Lerman), he's reluctant at first, but, eventually, the boy helps him see that his life is still full of options.
