When Colee (Rachel McAdams), TK (Michael Peña) and Cheever (Tim Robbins), three soldiers returning home from Iraq, find that all flights from New York have been canceled, they set out on an unexpected roadtrip. While Colee intends on giving a guitar to the parents of a fallen friend, TK tries to work up the courage to face his wife and Cheever plans to hit the casinos in a desperate attempt to pay for his son's college tuition.
