Molly Craig (Everlyn Sampi), a young aborigine girl, her younger sister, Daisy (Tianna Sansbury), and their cousin, Gracie (Laura Monaghan), are taken from their homes by a heartless bureaucrat (Kenneth Branagh) and sent to a government-run camp to be trained as domestic workers. Trapped in in a compound meant to integrate aborigines into white society and wipe out their culture, the girls make the decision to escape and make the dificult trek back home across 1500 miles of desolate outback terrain.
