Tired of putting up with the incessant car alarms going off in his neighborhood each night, successful David Owen (Tim Robbins), dubbing himself "The Rectifier", becomes a vigilante bringing "justice" to New York City. Initally only drawing grief from his wife (Bridget Moynahan), David soon finds that his antics have drawn the ire of the city's arrogant mayor (William Hurt). Directed by Henry Bean.
