For Christmas, the Rodriguez siblings have returned to their parents' Chicago home for what might be their last holiday together. While the homecoming rekindles feelings for an old flame in Jesse (Freddy Rodríguez) and reminds Roxanna (Vanessa Ferlito) that her acting career hasn't gotten anywhere, it provides Mauricio (John Leguizamo), the eldest Rodriguez sibling, an opportunity to introduce his high-powered executive wife (Debra Messing) to his family.
