Assigned to spend a night with a Los Angeles fire station, television reporter Angela Vidal (Jennifer Carpenter) and her cameraman (Steve Harris) follow the firemen on a call to an apartment building where a woman is suffering from an unidentified ailment. When residents begin being vicously attacked, everyone tries to evacuate, but finds that the building has been quarantined by the CDC. Trapped without any form of communication, Angela, the firemen and the remaining residents find that they are being hunted by an unknown evil lurking in the shadows. Directed by John Erick Dowdle.
