Vicky (Rebecca Hall) and Christina (Scarlett Johansson) are two best friends vacationing in Barcelona. While Vicky is straight-laced and preparing to get married, Christina is free-spirited and sexually adventurous. During their travels they meet flamboyant artist José Antonio (Javier Bardem). After being invited back to his home, Christina immediately throws herself at José. Despite her best efforts, Vicky eventually falls in love with him as well, and when José's beautiful but insane ex-wife Maria (Penélope Cruz) returns, chaos results. Directed by Woody Allen.
