Robin of Locksley (Kevin Costner) returns from the crusades to find that the Sheriff of Nottingham (Alan Rickman) has taken over his land and put the peasentry in a stranglehold in the King's absence. Teaming up with his friends, Azeem (Morgan Freeman) and Little John (Nick Brimble), Robin Hood vows to avenge his father's murder and put an end to the Sheriff's tyranny.
