Law student Mike McDermott (Matt Damon) is a reformed poker player who falls back into his old habits when his friend Worm (Edward Norton) is released from prison. When a few bad bets leave Mike and Worm $15K in the hole, the pair has five days to come up with the cash or suffer the consequences.
