A romantic comedy about a guy (John Cusack) and a girl (Kate Beckinsale), who meet by chance in New York one night while Christmas shopping. They hit it off immediately, but are both involved with other people. They go their separate ways. Fast forward to a couple of years later: They are both about to be married, but can't stop thinking about each other.
