In this installment from the masters of parody, Cindy Campbell (Anna Faris), a caring but oblivious young woman, is haunted by the spirit of a young boy after taking a job at a creepy old mansion. Meanwhile, her recently divorced neighbor, Tom Ryan (Craig Bierko), uncovers an alien plot to take over the world and goes on the run with his two kids. After Cindy discovers that the identity of the boy's murderer could be the key to stopping the aliens, she heads off with her friend (Regina Hall) to learn the truth and save the day.
