Shrek (Mike Myers) and Princess Fiona (Cameron Diaz), two just-married ogres, must fight to save their love, when a trip back to meet Fiona's royal parents (John Cleese and Julie Andrews) threatens to shatter their marital bliss. Unhappy with her new husband, Fiona's parents try to set up their newly transformed daughter with the annoying Prince Charming (Rupert Everett) and hire Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas), a deadly assassin, to rub out Shrek.
