Harry Lesser (Dylan McDermott), a Jewish-American writer, is desperately trying to complete a novel and thinks that he is the last tenant in an abandoned New York apartment building. In fact, he is sharing the building with African American writer Willie Spearmint (Snoop Dogg), who is using the space to come to terms with his violent and socially oppressed past.
