On July 4, 2008, as the city of Los Angles sits on the brink of the apocalypse, Boxer Santaros (Dwayne Johnson), a famous action film star, wakes up in the desert with amnesia. As Santaros begins a journey to recover his memory, he discovers that he is involved in a high-level conspiracy that could decide that fate of the world. Along the way, he meets Krysta Now (Sarah Michelle Gellar), an adult film star developing a reality tv show, and Ronald Taverner(Seann William Scott), a police officer who, along with his twin, holds the key to unlocking the mystery and preventing armageddon.
