When a NASA probe disappears in deep space, the agency recruits Ham III (Andy Samberg), the loveable, goofy grandson of the first chimp astronaut, to help recover the expensive piece of equipment. Joining the fun-loving Ham on the mission are Luna (Cheryl Hines), a fearless professional, and Titan (Patrick Warburton), their uptight commander. After the crew travels through an intergalactic wormhole, they'll have to risk everything in order to save the peaceful inhabitants of a distant planet from their tyrannical leader (Jeff Daniels).
