After Oliver Hardy sees Stan Laurel's picture in the paper, he goes to pay a visit to his old pal. Thinking Stan is disabled (it turns out he's just sitting on his leg), Oliver takes pity on his friend and invites him to a nice home-cooked meal. Oliver's wife (Minna Gombell) doesn't take kindly to the idea and leaves the pair to fend for themselves. A blown up kitchen and a misunderstanding with a neighbor's husband (Billy Gilbert) are just two examples of the hilarious trouble Laurel and Hardy can get into without even trying. Directed by John G. Blystone. With Patricia Ellis. Categories: Comedy, Classic. Year: 1938.
