Terry (Sean Penn) moves back to his old neighborhood in New York and meets up with his friend, Jackie (Gary Oldman). Jackie works for his older brother, gangster boss Frankie (Ed Harris). Terry has to decide if he wants to get back into a life of crime. Meanwhile, he finds himself falling in love with Frankie and Jackie's sister (Robin Wright Penn), who wants to get out of the neighborhood. Directed by Phil Joanou.
