After her latest run-in with the law, former gymnast-turned-juvenile delinquent Haley Graham (Missy Peregrym) is forced to enroll at an elite gymnastics academy run by legendary Olympic gymnast Burt Vickerman (Jeff Bridges). Unwelcome by her new teammates, Haley makes every effort to provoke conflicts with the other girls, until Vickerman takes it upon himself to help her regain her self-respect in time for the Gymnastic Nationals.
