Four young, wealthy friends take a semi-retired mobster (Christopher Walken) hostage in order to use him as a bargaining chip to win the release one of the friends' sister, who has been kidnapped by real professionals. As time ticks by, the kidnapping becomes more and more complicated and the friends begin to fear that their plan will leave them all dead in the end.
