In this spoof of the superhero genre, high school loser Rick Riker (Drake Bell) is bitten by a mutated dragonfly and transformed into a super-strong crime fighter with armored skin and an uncomforatble costume. As "The Dragonfly" attempts to put a stop to the dastardly plans of the supervillian "The Hourglass" (Christopher McDonald), he runs into situations which parody the biggest superhero blockbusters of the last decade.
